What I have to learn is how to be myself. But sad to say I don't know who I am. I was raised to be a daughter that pleased her parents and then a wife and mother that did whatever she could to please her husband and children. So I've never been encouraged to be "me" and I don't really know how to do that.

I think Paris is a wonderful place to find yourself :) Actually a small town in France somewhere. You should do an exchange program where you live with a family for a couple months. You could be an au pair!! When you have so many commitments and strings attached, getting away to France isn't always a possibility, though. Hmm... I'll think about this one.
